Hi, my name is Emma and I live in the heart of the Dorset countryside with my husband and daughter. Oh, and not forgetting our two lovable Labradors!
I have been crafting for a lot longer than I’d like to admit but honestly from a little girl with my mother. She is the one that taught me how to use a sewing machine, although I wish she was still here to help me when I have a mishap. She always encouraged me to follow my creative side. After school I qualified in mechanical craft engineering thinking this would be enough to fulfil that creativity, but alas no. Being sentimental I have kept my original vernier though.
After our daughter was born, I realised the value of quality family time. Making my craft my full-time job allowed me to do just that. In my home studio my daughter has her own craft corner, and she is always willing to help me when I need it. Now she is six it is even more special that we are not only creating gifts for you, but also creating memories which I hope she will look back on fondly like I do of my mum.
